ENTRY2;

I think that being sweet and cute makes answers short and boring. My mouth has a habit of running away with me, and after chatting a little on AIM I guess my fingers do as well. I’m Natalie Portman, 24 years old and born on the 9th of June, 1981. I was born in Israel and moved to America when I was three, and took up acting as a child. I can speak English, Hebrew (I’m Jewish), French, Japanese and many other languages.

I studied psychology at Harvard for 4 years and graduated on the 5th of June in 2003. I’m really glad that I took that course because it’s helped me to understand people’s motivations. As an actor I definitely need to motivate myself, and knowing different ways how to, is great knowledge. I try to choose roles of independent characters, who act older than their age. Strangest thing is, I have stage fright.

I live in Soho, New York with my dog Charlie, and when I’m not acting I’m either writing, reading, singing, dancing (I’ve taken jazz, tap and ballet classes), skating, or just making a fool of myself for people’s amusement! I like to collect little purses, and I do a really good Lily Tomlin impression. I’m also a vegetarian but I try to make a habit of eating dairy.

There are so many other things I would love to tell you all about myself; because I rarely have the opportunity to telling people myself, instead of having the media tell my story. I’m a really unglamorous girl, and I have a habit of saying things before I think. But I would love to meet some new people and catch up with the people I already do know!
